The massive "Tears of Joy" emoji balloon, emerging from a smartphone, expresses the uncertainty of the modern world where the digital and physical realms intertwine. Its overwhelming scale of 8 meters, combined with augmented reality technology, symbolizes the intersection of these two worlds. By physically enlarging a small emoji commonly used in the digital space, it brings to the surface the ambiguous emotions and spirituality of contemporary individuals. Since its debut at Roppongi Art Night, it has been showcased in museums and commercial spaces both domestically and internationally, gaining popularity as a thought-provoking artwork that questions the nature of emotional expression in modern society.
