An installation featuring half of the Olympic rings placed on the surface of the water near the Tokyo Olympic venue, with the reflection on the water completing the Olympic symbol. Inspired by a haiku by Matsuo Basho, the work expresses the division in public opinion and doubts about media truth regarding the Olympic Games held during the pandemic. By using the physical phenomenon of water reflection, it questions the relationship between surface and depth, reality and illusion. This experimental work gained significant attention, being featured in both domestic and international media, sparking a strong response worldwide.
